The NKU Womens' basketball team won the NCAA II Championship!!! WAY TO GO Norse women!!! :) First time since 2000.

My Alma Mater - Northern KY University women's basketball team is in Division II NCAA ELITE 8 ranking!!! WOOHOO!!!

" They'll take on the Northern Kentucky Norse (25-8), the fourth seed from the Great Lakes Regoin. NKU, making its fourth Elite Eight trip, won the 2000 national title and were runners up three years later."

They will play live on ESPN2 this week! I'll be watching for sure! Our bball rocks!! :D Love it, love it, love it!!! (The 2008 Elite Eight will be held March 26-27 & 29^th. The national semifinals games on the 27^th will be carried live on ESPN U with the title game the 29^th live on ESPN 2. Quarterfinal games on the 26th will be video webcasted by the NCAA/CSTV. )

I'm so excited for them, 'cause it isn't a real large university, but they still have a great program.

Happy Easter!

Lil M and I are spending our first Easter weekend together!! WOOHOO! Her hair is getting long enough for me to put in two pigtails easier... and it is too cute. :) I'll definitely take pics this weekend of her in her dress(es)! :D

New job is nice. Things have been going pretty well. I have been dating someone for a little while now, and he is going with us this weekend. I think he had second thoughts when I said I wanted to go to TWO Easter services!!! ROFL. But he is very accommodating. :) I am hoping we can all do an Easter egg hunt... and, of course, the Easter bunny is coming for the kids. :)

Not much...

There's not much going on tonight. I did get to go to a women's health seminar today. My friend Ellen and I went. It was fun, as always!! Aiyee Mimi came down and hung out with Lil M today. She also went and had her hair done... Mindy, that is. :) It was a girl day all the way around. haha.

Things are going pretty well, overall, besides today even. It was a busy week, but pretty good. Lil M's newest word is "bye". She walks and almost runs everywhere! She loves her dog purse... that I got her form Valentine's day. It is a little pink purse with a stuffed dog in it!! haha. We're watching Animal Cops Houston right now and she loves to see the animals.

The dogs are doing great, as is Manna. We're really a funny little family here! :D

Pigtails and Earrings

First pigtails... the girls at the daycare decided she needed some pigtails it looks like!! LOL So, I had to take pics. :)

Yesterday, March 1, Lil M got her ears pierced!!!!! Aiyee Mimi was a little upset we didn't wait to do it with her, but it was a spur of the moment decision. :) She's got little 14K peridot earrings now.
