Ok, now that's been said... our women's Gymnastics team RULES!!! :) Woohoo! Gold and Silver, babie!!!!!

I just read an article where a Swede won Bronze in Wrestling... only then to THROW IT ON THE FLOOR because he was upset at the outcome. OMG. Show some respect. I mean, seriously. These are the top athletes in the WORLD and this guy gets pissy over the outcome? OK, I get that he was upset about their judging. But save that for private. Not the podium.

'Nough said.

Anyway, I didn't actually stay up and watch the gymnastics last night, but hopefully, my DVD-R got it!! :) I've been taping parts of the Olympics for Lil M.

Oh, and last night, we had our FINAL adoption agency visit!!! It went well. The lady, Amy, was super nice. They all have been. Whew. That's all over. :) She asked how much Lil M weighs... looks like about 24.6 - 25 lbs (according to an online chart, she's still in the 40th percentile, where's she's been all along!). She's also approximately 31.5" tall now! WOW. She's gettin' so BIG! :) I need to get her 2 year Dr. appt scheduled. Let's see how accurate Mommy was at home! haha.

two 'two word' sentences so far... "More Juice" and "Where go?" (as in, where'd he/she go? - as she raises her hands as a question too! lol)

She also likes to mimic Mommy. She likes to put on her makeup (pretend, of course), comb her hair, and brush her teeth. She pretended to dry her hair with the hairdryer this morning, even! She can wipe her face and nose with a tissue. She can feed herself with a spoon or fork. She can walk, run, walk up stairs holding on to the railing... she likes to push/throw a ball, color with crayons and color on the back porch with chalk!

New words

So, Lil M is definitely talking....and walking up stairs... literally! She can walk up the stairs holding onto the wall! It is crazy! Such the big girl!! She's been doing this for about 2 weeks now...

She also said her first little sentence... "More Juice"... as in, more juice please, mommy!! OMG

She told Scott "NO!" and pointed her little finger at him the other day... and today she told him to "SIT" and pointed to the couch! Tooooo funny!!! :)

Oh, she also said "peekaboo".... peeboo! LOL She's learning so much. Have I mentioned she calls stuffed dogs 'puppies' and real dogs 'dog-dogs'??? ;-) She's one smart cookie!

I can't believe she turns 2 next month. Guess I better get the party organized, huh?!!

PS. I had a decent review today. Whew. I 'exceeded expectations' and they 'couldn't have done it without me'!!! :)

We didn't have a good day at court today for Mindy. It sucks. But, I believe justice will prevail. Please pray for her and this awful crap she's going through. We love you Chase, and are not giving up!!!

We went and got Chase 3 beta fish this weekend, a new crabitat and 2 new hermit crabs! It was so fun putting the stuff together!! (I think the hermies are hiding under the crab shack in the pic below!) The blue aquarium was from Gramsy and Grandad to Chase for Christmas. I got him the other one for his crabs. :)
